To build independence and teamwork, the Temple Hill High School students held their annual camp at the Forest Club Eco Resort in Laguna from September 11 to 13, 2024.
During the three-day camp, students engaged in various activities that fostered self-sufficiency, community, and environmental awareness. These activities included team-building exercises, student-initiated tasks, and environmental workshops.
On the first day of camp, students participated in board game sessions and badminton matches.
The board game sessions include Secret Hitler, Pictionary, Clue, Uno, and Giant Jenga. Isaac Ordoñez, a Grade 7 student, expressed his enjoyment of the games, describing them as “fun and memorable.”
THIS high school’s Theater Club, Entablado Repertory, also offered improv and acting exercises. One of Enteblado’s directors, Colin Jugo, shared his intentions for the activities. “We started with a physical and vocal warm-up, followed by theater games and exercises. One of the exercises was Questions, Questions, Questions, an improv theater exercise, where students have to facilitate a conversation using questions,” he explained.

During the night, students and teachers gathered to watch a Studio Ghibli film called Spirited Away.
On the second day of camp, the group gathered around a warm bonfire for a reflective evening. Students shared their experiences, ate snacks, and sang karaoke.
Maffine Go, a Grade 8 student, commented on the bonfire as “hot, fun, and delicious.”
Finn Santos, member of the Camp Student Core Committee, described the camp as an experience that helped many students bond, build confidence, and create lasting memories.
